Building a new home with Viking – how does our process work?
Location: Our first step is to find a location that suits your needs and budget and then put the home plan options together with an estimated quote, so that you have the confidence to secure the land. As we are licensed real estate agents in Queensland, we can also assist you with the negotiation on the block and with the sale contract for the land.

Design: Once the land is secured, we meet with you to discuss home plans, and ensure that you have all of the additional inclusions and upgrades you require to meet all of your needs. Next, once we have the design requirements finalised with you, we will tender your build out to our panel of builders on your behalf for them to submit quotes to us. All of the builders on our panel are licensed, reputable and produce high quality homes, completed to our demanding standards. After you have shortlisted the builders you are interested in, we’ll arrange for you to inspect their homes under construction so you can rest assured that you are selecting the right builder for your new home.
Once you have selected your preferred builder, we will organise the building contract for you. Our goal at this stage is to help you finalise a plan and pricing BEFORE the land contract becomes unconditional; this way you will be confident new house and land package is comfortably within your budget.
Build: We work with you throughout the entire build process, from the signing of contracts right up until handover. Not only will you receive regular updates from your builder on the progress, we are available to answer any questions you may have at any stage as well.
